I have been in the film industry for over 10 years now as a skilled 1st Assistant Camera/ Focus Puller. Since the beginning of my studies, I was fascinated by the power of cinema and the wide spectrum of possibilities of modern digital technology, so a career as a 1st Assistant Camera was a natural fit.

I graduated with a Bachelors degree in Arts from Miami International University of Art and Design. Since then, I’ve been working to improve my craftsmanship and grow professionally as both a Camera Assistant and a Camera Operator.

Throughout my career, I‘ve noticed that our industry was lacking some custom essential elements like filter tags, case tags, and some enhanced camera ID letters. There wasn’t any one really making these crucial pieces in the U.S. Even though, companies like FilmTools were supplying basic filter tags, we couldn’t customize them. Hence, I decided to fill the necessary gap in the market.

Also, I wasn’t happy with the standard pieces that the market currently had. For instance, some use small fonts which isn’t helpful; therefore, I decided to reconstruct them – big and bold for everyone to see.

Filter tags weren’t the only thing I wanted to create.  I wanted to produce any tag that would make our job easier in the film industry. On set, we’re constantly asked which lens is on the camera. Well, why not have a big bold tag with the lens size, right? Well I created some practical tags that can be customized to any lens package.
